I’ve got 17% left to charge on my phone before it reaches 100% so might as well as pen some thoughts down whilst waiting. I’m very anal when it comes to charging of phones, weirdly so since I’m rather easy-going on other stuff hahaha.

It’s been a week since unofficially graduating and it’s been great. I’ve enjoyed every single part of my holiday so far and it’s really relaxing to not be able to think about anything academic related! Hope to be starting a temporary job soon, and I really hope that this stint will give me the extra boost I need in my résumé to let me get the job I’ll eventually want to settle in! But this (provided I get it) will tide me over these few months and I’m quite looking forward to it!

One thing that I hope to gain out of this is more independence. I have to be a responsible adult now, whether I like it or not and that means relying more on myself than anyone else. Who else is more dependable than yourself anyway! I have to now take take responsibility for my actions and learn to care for my own welfare. I have to start planning for the life that I’d want to live in the future. Sure it still sounds scary as hell but I will take one step at a time and work from there. I believe that happiness is in my own hands and no one else’s so I’m hoping i’ll make the right choices for myself! Dissociating myself from the things that don’t matter and all the negativity and going to focus on myself for awhile now. I wonder how things will be one month from now! Really excited to be taking new paths in life :)
